We have started KPD Automation with the only desire to create an opportunity for the talented automation engineers in Bulgaria to work in the automotive industry.

I am a sales person who knows way too many outstanding PLC engineers. For me the work-life balance we offer is of highest importance because the job requires thinking too hard too often. I value people who are easy to work with and posses professional ethics.

My childhood passion for electronics drove me to deepen my knowledge in university. Upon graduation and after spending some time doing repairs and producing devices in low volumes, in a small laboratory, it became clear to me that the world has changed and electronics was not a career to pursue anymore. Around this time a small Norwegian company with plenty of one of a kind projects in shipyards, different handling and welding systems, and deck machinery hired me, so I jumped in the industrial automation field. It wasn’t too big of a departure from electronics, just the scale changed quite a bit. For the next ten years it was my responsibility to develop the control software, to do or supervise the electrical installation work and to commission the equipment at the customer’s premises. As time passed I started longing for a more sedentary life and attempted to develop my business locally. Eventually I started another traveling job, this time working on ships’ ventilation solutions in order to make them compliant with the latest environmental regulations.  The life of a sailor, though, offered nothing,  The life of a sailor, though, offered nothing to aspire to, so eventually I’ve found a new opportunity with KPD Automation.

MISSION

Our team consists of A-level automation engineers who happen to have two things in common – they know machines and they never give up.  Our goal is to keep that ideal and to grow the team to twelve engineers, who is known for their knowledge of machine engineering and commissioning.
