Automated Battery Stacking Assembly Line planned to be based in BlueOval Battery Park, Marshall, Michigan. Designed and constructed by GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG, Mindelheim in Germany. High-tech process that requires extreme precision. Automated line starting from receiving the battery cell. After OCV test navigated through a series of conveyor systems stacked into rows. Rows became matrix just before insertion into the sub assembly tray. Pressed into place. MapVision system to detect all welding spots coordinates. BBM welded onto the matrix gets voltage potential tested and sent to the next process.
